NationalKidepo International Airport to Open Karamoja to Global Tourists
President Museveni has broken ground on the USD 72 million Kidepo International Airport in Karenga District. Funded by the UAE's Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, the mega-project features a 3.6km runway and aims to transform the Karamoja sub-region into a high-traffic hub for global tourism and trade.
